Journal Entry #77: 10/15/23 - Home

Hi, I'm at home right now. By the end of the day, I'll be back in my dorm.

I'll do a short recap of the week, but first I must say that coming home has made my problems at college feel more like a bad dream. I walked in on my roommate and her boyfriend on Monday, ugh. Hopefully, the tension's gone by the time I get back. I had my cal I exam on Tuesday, which I'm not too confident about. Wednesday was okay since there was no lab, but I have a project due next week and have yet to get an interview. Thursday, I had my bio exam, which I didn't feel too good about either. Friday, I eventually found myself at home.

It's been pretty gloomy, especially for October. I hope we have some sunnier weather this week. I can feel the fall fatigue setting in... There will be a lot to do this week, so I really need the strength to continue!

As for what I did while I was home...I went to two football games, rested, and bought a CD set and Yotsuba&! It's the 15th issue, though, it's the only one they had at the store. I missed the football stadium in my city. It's so big and loud and full of people. I was in the upper deck, so there was a beautiful view of the skyline. Also, the temperature was wonderful. It felt like the perfect day weather-wise. I texted my old friend during the game, asking him what he thought. He doesn't like football that much.

It was nice to come home, but I can't wait for Thanksgiving break. I'll have my room to myself, and I'll be able to stay for much longer. I need some strength to power through!

Oh, and the Amazing Digital Circus pilot was, well, amazing. Unfortunately, it wasn't mind-blowing, likely because I now have some expectations for Glitch, but I hope it does well. If I ever have time, I'll post my thoughts on it.

That's the other thing; time feels so scarce. There's so much work to do! I feel so wound up sometimes. I need to breathe, and the weather needs to clear for good!

I hope for a seamless week.
