first blog post...

finally made a spacehey account, huh. 

I've seen a lot of people I know link their spacehey accounts, and it seemed cool, so I left it in the back of my mind as "something I'll do eventually". funnily enough, the only time I get around to it is when I should be working on my website revamp, lol...

but hey! I've actually got a place to blog post, without having to build a blog page from scratch... at least for now. I can already tell this site's gonna be pretty limited, despite the amount of customization you can do with css. that's only a first impression, of course, but I was pretty bummed about not being to totally change the layout. (which, I mean. to be expected, I don't know what I thought.)

as an aside, I wanted to avoid microblogging on here. there's no issue with it, of course, but there are other places where I can do that. I think it'd be good to try and compile my thoughts together rather than posting every single one individually. 

I have a strong feeling that I probably won't be using this often, unless I manage to find people who I can consistently engage with, and who's posts I enjoy reading. 

but I am here now! that is true. actually, speaking of first impressions...

jesus, is the autoplay on here loud. I'm not particularly against having autoplay on a page, but damn. I considered adding an audio to my page, but decided against it. mostly because I can do that on my website, with more freedom.

that's all I had to say about my first experience... my next blog post will most likely be a lengthy rant about my shifting interests in media. look forward to it ^_^
