life update - school

i did write some other "life updates" but ultimately i've deleted them cuz they were too short (i was too lazy to make some good updates)

anywayzz, i did got in one of my two preferred high schools! but not in the section i wanted. initially, i applied to the bilingual english - maths & informatics section but i got into the (still bilingual) philology section which honestly i think it's better!

i really love maths since i am very good at it (think i alr mentioned this before lol) but it wont actually help with anything in the future other than idk counting the price of my groceries i guess. and informatics......i mean powerpoint is fun but thats all. coding will NEVER help me unless i want a website for myself(?) but even then, i can just pay someone to do it. i HATE informatics.

at the philology section, the main subjects are obviously languages, history, geography and logic. since i am at a bilingual school, i have five hours of english - two are for cultural, historical lessons + english literature, two hours are for grammar :P and one is just a speaking class where we talk with a native english speaker! how cool is that?!! the teacher said he is from arizona - so usa i guess - he is very goofy and talks in a silly manner lolz

speaking of english, i also have a special subject: "The geography of the uk and the usa". tbh i dont like geography in general - way too complicated imo - but for now it looks like an interesting subject!

the teachers at this school are great! like super fun, chill, understanding and super PASSIONATE! like the geography teacher brings us every time some kind of fun presentation for us to understand the lesson better. he also brought us chocolate because it was his birthday! so sweet!! but this sweetness stopped cuz on friday we're having a test........................amazing

today i took a test at history. i had to learn ab ancient civilizations like the ones from mesopotamia (sumerians, akkadenian, asyrians? i hope i spell them right in english), egyptians, jews (this was basic religion knowledge lol, great thing i went to a catholic school b4), greeks, romans and thracians. honestly i thought the test was gonna be rlly hard. like exam-tier like. but it was quite easy lol. HOWEVER there was a little question: in what monuments were the egyptian rulers placed after death?" what i said: SARCOPHAGS.............."pyramids maybe? nahh sounds weird" ..this was my thought process....pyramids were correct......and we also had to write all the information we knew about jews. all was basic shit for me until i had to write about kings..like king saul?, king david and solomon. oh!, and also i had to mention dates.....that is where i messed up. hopefully i'll get a 9/10 mark!!

well anyways, as i said, the teachers are fine. however i dont like the crazy art teacher, the music teacher (she wants us to sing...) and the new physics teacher 

so, we had as a physics teacher a bald guy with a long beard. he was rlly cool! he tried his best to explain us physics cuz he knew no one knew anything and even said that whenever we take a test, we can bring a paper sheet with different notions on it! how nice is that:D !?!! BUT. this monday a lady came in the class. i was confused. my friends told me (i wasnt at school the previous week cuz i got sick) that she is our new physics teacher. apparently last week, she came in class, didnt say a word all hour, like didnt teach, didnt speak, NOTHING and the next period (we have two classes of physics one after the other), literally everyone left. okay now back to this week's monday. a girl asked the teacher "so u will be our permanent physics teacher?" and she said yeah. after this, the class began and everybody was talking really loud but the teacher didnt say anything. then she stood up from her desk and started writing something on the board. the lesson. but she wasnt talking. she wasnt explaining. she didnt tell anyone to shut up. bro was NOT teaching. during the break, the class president tells us to be quiet next period so that maybe she'll explain. dead wrong. there was some quietness for a while but bro wasnt saying anything. she was at her desk, looking through her textbook or on her phone. so we did NOTHING all hour. i mean, usually this wouldnt sound so bad, in fact i loved that i was socializing (what a weird word) with my classmates that hour, BUT it was the last class of the day, so i basically we could have left with one hour earlier....

a friend told me that the physics teacher might be shy but 1. why is she a teacher then? and 2. bro could at least explain to us what she is doing or sum xp

i think i'll make a separate post for my new friends/classmates since this is too long and its like 1 am and i gotta do my english homework cuz i might get a 3 if i dont...and the german hausaufgaben too bruhhh
