My thoughts on DNI lists

90% of the time DNI lists are the most useless, performative things. Like you see all these DNIs that just say "racists, homophobes, pedos" and it's like... Will any of these people actually see that dni and turn around and avoid you? Likely not. Either people who are these things don't identify this way and will think it doesn't apply to them and therefore will interact anyway, or they're trolls who are using these things to bother people, and will see your dni and actively harass you.

I think when you make a dni list you should think about unusual things that are specific to your page. So like, let's say you have a phobia of clowns. So your dni list could say "clownfuckers / juggalos" dni, because these people are not usually trying to harass people, and are likely to leave you alone if they see your dni.

Idk, seems to me that most of the time now dni lists are just people stating what they don't believe in, which is useless and performative on the internet because all of us can lie. Dni lists serve a purpose, but they've evolved into uselessness.
