Community and Friendship

I know this will sound corny or cheesy, but I feel so happy it's almost overwhelming. 

Despite being on here for less than a week, and only having a few friends, I feel such a sense of community and friendship. I feel I have a place to be truly myself, unapologetically. 

It's nostalgic in a way. Like when I spent hours on Tumblr delving into my favorite fandoms way back when. (Has it been a decade already??? God Damn) Getting way too obsessed with fictional universes...and fictional men lol 

I love that I can be goofy and silly without fearing rejection.

Except here, I'm actually gaining friends and people to talk to about my interests. I like internet friends a lot. There's less sense of judgment, more anonymity, less pressure to hangout..because you can't. It's all long distance. (No hate to my irl friends, I just am so exhausted all the time and busy, I can't hang out often) People I can relate to, people that love the things I do. Trust, it's hard finding irl people who love Leon from RE or Nintendo games as much as I do.
