 In the depths of my mind, I ponder why I flee,

Leaving you with tears, causing your heart to bleed.

But deep down, girl, I yearn to be by your side,

To mend the wounds I caused, to make things right.

I beg you, dear girl, grant me another chance,

To rectify my mistakes and partake in this dance.

For your tears are precious, meant for another day,

Let them flow when the sun sets and darkness holds sway.

I admit now that I came to this realization too late,

That someone better should have been your fate.
