Being a female in a male dominated field

Sometimes I feel really blocked out of everything just for being female. I work as a researcher for NASA, I’m currently in college pursuing a PhD in physics but I feel a lot of times like no one wants me here. It’s a lot of hard work, sweat, and tears just to be told you’re still not good enough at times. I feel like I bust my ass but it always feels futile or like I’ll never meet that end goal. I’ve had so many great opportunities and done all of this pretty much alone but men still try to find a way to make me feel down about myself anyways. I just want to be respected both as a female and as a physicist.
