my bf<3

I just started dating this guy and im so happy with him but most of my friends don't approve, we haven't been talking for long but he knows me through his friends and we have a class together, the main person that is trying to tell me im moving too quickly is one of my friends I think of like a brother, but the thing is him and his girlfriend got together in about the same amount of time. He keeps telling me that I don't know him that well but he treats me really well and I like him a lot, I just think its really hypocritical for him to tell me what to do when he did the same thing and him and his girlfriend have been together for almost 3 months now and have been doing long distance since she moved. my other friends don't seem to be that excited for me either, they never reply when ill talk about him, this is my first real boyfriend so I thought they would at least care a little bit but it doesn't seem that they do:/ but none of that matters because im happy with him and I don't need extra stress on me.
