Just a rant

For the past two months my room has been under renovation. My room had a really bad bug problem, so after asking my mom to help me she finally decided to fix the issue. But the issue was everything 💀. The walls were moldy, orange stains from leaks of rain. Cracks everywhere allowing any bug to crawl through. Floor was uneven with shitty carpet placed over. They removed all my stuff from my room n started ripping everything off. But atp my room should have already been done. My mom, her boyfriend, n friend are the ones who are doing the renovating, n as much as I am grateful they are very, very, very, very slow. It's been two months n they still have to take down one wall, replace the floor, and replace my window. I understand the process takes awhile but they haven't done anything for awhile now. They only spend about 1-3 hours on my room every other weekend. Which is why this has been dragged out for so long. I help here n there but there isn't much I can do, anything else n I'll just be in the way of their work. I am really grateful but these 2 months have been hell. Not having a room means I'm forced to be around my family, and my family is VERY toxic. Being distant from my family caused way less arguments vs when I cant distance myself. There's no extra rooms so I mostly just sleep on the couch but even then someone is always up (doesn't matter what time) making hella noise, turning on every goddamn light there is, phone volume on blast, while I try to sleep. I have school every week so it's definitely hard getting up early when I spend most of my time awake because of my loud ass family. There was a time where all the rooms were taken plus the couch, and I had just been in a big fight with both my sister and mom so I decided to sleep on top of my vanity for the night. My vanity was put into our dogs room (the dogs stuff was cleaned out, also the room isn't that big either) there's isn't a door so I had to block the door way with my big ass spiderman poster balancing off of my vanity plus gate. I didn't sleep well that day either. 💀But at least I was somewhat separated. Instead of doing that now I just go over to my titi's house so I can experience some kind of peace away from my own home. Hopefully this weekend they work on my room so the process can go faster, n we can all relax without that burden on our backs.
