cool music thing i wanted to share... i figured some of y'all would be into this:
this is the soundtrack album for the 1993 movie judgment night - not a particularly good movie in my opinion, but the music is top fucking tier. for the album, different rock bands collabed w/ hip hop artists to create mashups of their different styles. this resulted in the glorious, glorious collaboration between cypress hill and sonic youth: I LOVE YOU MARY JANE
listen to that and tell me it isn't a perfect song. another one from the same soundtrack, slayer collabing with fucking ice-t: DISORDER
if you like rock and hip hop go listen to the full album. it's incredibly underrated.

This is insane. Helmet and House of Pain? Mudhoney and Sir Mix-A-Lot? Pearl Jam and Cypress Hill????? No idea how I haven't heard of this, thanks for sharing!
np. and yeah man the pearl jam/cypress hill song is one of my other favorites off that album too. goes hard.
