16 today

16th birthday came around and i got basically nothing for it :p

not because my parents don’t love me or anything i legit didn’t want anything. believe me, i tried.

i dunno its just weird since usually your 16th birthday is supposed to be a really big thing, like white girls on telly get expensive cars for their 16th but i just didn’t really bother.

i remember 5 years ago, when i had just turned 11, and i was thinking “man only 5 more years till im legal” (because like everyone just hitting puberty that’s all i wanted to do back then), but now i am genuinely not all that excited for being 16. its weird. not like im gonna end up with a boyfriend or anything to do that with so whatever.
