"nice" guys - a poem

How many times have I read it?

At least 82 on each app

Talking about how girls only want guys

Who are gonna treat them like trash

They say “They won’t take a chance

On nice guys like me

Even if I wish on every star”

Well, maybe you’re not as nice as you say you are

Yes, you’re kind

But to a fault

Kindness is fake

If it’s only to get what you want

You don’t want love, you just want a servant

Who will replace your mom

Replying to your every call

Well, good luck, in that case

Cause most of us aren’t like that at all

How many times

Do I have to reply

Before you stop and read my words

Instead of blocking me and telling me I’m trippin’

But here’s the thing

About these so-called “nice guys”

They may like girls, but they hate women
