Breeding Spider-man gives you cancer

In 2009 Kaare Andrews wrote a 4 issue limited series called Spider-man reign
that features an old retired Peter Parker.
Throughout the books he's shown talking to his unresponsive love intrest Mary Jane
only to reveal that she's been deceased the entire time.
Spider-man explains that breeding Mary Jane gave her cancer due to his radioactive nut
and this eventually led to her death. This limited series is also known for another controversy
which shows Peter Parker's genitalia while he's sitting on the side of a bed.
Comic vendors feared this would be an issue for parents due to Spider-man's broad appeal
and the comic book has since been reissued to remove his genitalia in the panel.
Despite these issues with this panel can still be bought on resale for about $80-170
