Movie Review #1: The Nice Guys, Another Round, The Hunt, and Three Billboards

I want to post here more, so I think I will post movie reviews as I go along. There are a lot of movies I wanna watch but just haven't yet.  These will most likely be posted once in a blue moon, and most likely will only be seen by me. However, I wanna have some fun.

I can't say that my review will be much, I'm not always good with words. But maybe I'll find others who like the same movies! Or people who hate the same movies! Or something.

Now this is going to be a list because I have watched a few in recent times, but this won't be how I'll go about it from now on. Most likely will be one movie per review after this.

The Nice Guys - 9/10

So, this movie was really fun. It has been in my sight for a while, but took me so long to get around to watch it. Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe aren't actors I've watched many movies with, especially Russell Crowe. However, I think they were really good in this film. They just worked really well together. Even when they were on their own they were really good. I wish there was another film like this - that is how good I thought it was. Think my favorite part was the elevator scene. It is something I'd probably want to watch again.

Another Round - 8/10

So, this movie and The Hunt are movies I mostly watched because of Mads Mikkelsen. Calling myself out a little with that one, but man. What the hell are the Danish doing over there... With this movie, I thought it was good. I was confused sometimes about where things were going. Also not a big fan of secondhand embarrassment, which I felt a lot during this movie. But it was a good movie! I think all the actors were really good in the movie, really good. I can't say that I'll watch it again, but it was an interesting movie, to say the least.

The Hunt - 6/10

Yeah uh, I won't say too much about this one. I would be careful if anyone looks into this one for its a serious topic. It definitely was an interesting movie... Once again, what the hell is happening with the Danish? It was directed by the same guy who did Another Round and had a lot of the same main cast as well. I will most likely never watch this one again, ever. It sure was, interesting, but yeah it was hard to get through.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - 10/10

I remember hearing about this movie when it came out and it seemed interesting. However, I forgot about it up until this month. It is also a serious movie so I won't go too much into the plot and everything. I will say though that this movie is one of the best I've seen in a while. I don't think I've gotten emotional like I did with this movie with any other I've watched as of recently. The amount of time this move dragged me around was just... The fact that this movie got me to feel bad for characters I hated the whole movie is just crazy. I don't know if I'd watch it again, but it is really good.

That is all for my rambling for now. I have a few other movies on my list. Need to finish The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Also, need to watch Astroid City, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Little Miss Sunshine, Birdman, and a few more. Give you an idea of what I'm working towards.

I know no one will read this, but if anyone would like to recommend anything then feel free to. Thanks for reading.
