Band life

It was in 2006 my senior in high school. I wanted to start a metal band. I felt I learned from my first band and had enough with the drama I wanted to start a band of my own. Through college I saved and copyrighted the name i research. Found four close friends, recorded an EP in 2008, as the band was writing, we started doing shows around Utah. The band was going strong till 2018. 

The 2 guitarist had to leave, one in college and one with life problems, as we were looking we still held practice to make what we were working on. I took a 2 year break so I could go back to school after that I tried again to find members. 

Now it's 2023, I look back on the trials I have had, some felt blindsided, and my career in music was being closed on me, to to actions of individual/others. I have dealt with a narcisist band member and a Rebel without a cause member,  trust me it is emotional draining and painful because these are supposed to be your friends. Your band mates people that you should be able to trust,  thier actions caused a fall out and the others blame you and that your the problem. 

I had to take a break from it and heal from the drama. I'm ready to get back into it. I have been looking and hope to find committed individuals, it is not an easy task. 

I hope that my blog read just people who have been through the same thing I have been through and helps you to keep going.
