every day
I go to work
I see familiar faces gone .
replaced with half hearted attempts
at clones of them .
seemingly familiar enough ,
but just enough is wrong
to make me feel like
I've disappeared
into a parallel universe .
one where I am just as lonely .
but surrounded by different bones .
