Dyslexia is annoying

I am unfortunate enough to have dyslexia, I’m pretty sure it comes from my mum because my brother has it too.

All the time I’ve had it I’ve not had any support with it in school until 4 days ago as if it was overshadowed or overlooked, it felt like no one really cared about it so I just tried to ignore it.

4 days ago a teacher came up to me and handed me some ‘overlays’ and told me to look through them to see what one helped me read better, after around 20 minutes of looking through all of them a orange one helped me the most!

So after being exited I went to my mum and said I found one that helped me read and she was pleased to hear about it.

If you have dyslexia and struggle reading then I also advise you try different overlays too it really helps!
