September Top Artists

Well it's been a month! I've had a lot going on and have not very much to show for it, but it for sure could have been worse. Here's my September artist breakdown according to Spotify. WE'RE COUNTING DOWN!

#10 Bad Suns

I was surprised Bad Suns made it to the top ten because I don't remember listening to them that much, however, its a good band that I recommend. They recently released a new song called The One I Used To Love and I like it a lot. 

#9 Snail Mail

Snail Mail <3 The face of the group, Lindsey Jordan, is a major crush of mine. The band has really cool chill music and I love Lindsey's voice. I was reminded of them because, much like bad suns, they released a single recently. 

#8 Chappell Roan

The pop girl of the moment! If you aren't listening to her debut album already, go get on it. I think my favorites are Hot To Go, Naked in Manhattan, and After Midnight. Really fun, poppy, and campy.

#7 Enhypen

This one is because I went to a Kpop dance class and learned the chorus for Bite Me.. I did not do very well lol. But I did have fun and thats what counts. So yeah that inspired me to listen to some more Enhypen.

#6 Yumi Zouma

Talk about a band with great music. I really love their vibe and I just listen to them a lot. Definitely a walking around campus band for me.

#5 Kep1er

Come on Galileoleo!! I love this comeback! Kep1er is one of my favorite groups currently and I stan hard. I've been listening to the new mini album nonstop. My favorite is the subunit song Tape. It's so fun and fresh!

#4 The 1975

I think they've been on this list before so I've probably already said this but I don't like Matty Healy I just like the music. They have so many songs that I just love so much. I spent a day listening to I think exclusively the 1975 while thrifting.

#3 Carly Rae Jepsen

What have I not already said about CRJ? Just expect her on these lists because she's a fixture in my life. 

#2 MUNA

Muna is just great. I've been listening to their self titled album a ton recently bc I've just been in that kind of mood. Interestingly enough a song that I hadn't paid much attention to before had snuck its way into being one of my favorites. It's Kind Of Girl.

#1 flor

I've been feeling nostalgic lately and for me that means coming back to a band that I used to really really love in high school: flor. Really just a fantastic band with some songs I love a lot. I've been listening to it at night a lot and in the shower. The lead singer's voice is so so good. It scratches an itch in my brain.
