Week 6 (i think)

(this is for a grade btw heads up)

So...schools going good. My English grade went down a bit but it's still a low A. Midterms are next week 0-0 bit worried bout those but oh well what happens happens. I'm probably going to be inactive (as if im not already) to study so I can pass. Anyway. 

So in my first post about starting College I talked about how I made friends right? Still friends with them, and they even introduced me to their friends so now I know even more people. Band is going good too and even made friends there and I have another club meeting next week too the third I believe...(oohhhhh uhhh i think my counseling is during that time oh no - nvm I just checked im good). I think I'm signing up for things because my high school didn't have extracurriculars so I'm making up for it. 

I didn't really plan on making friends in college tbh, just was gonna keep my head down and get my degree, probably transfer to another college so i could MAJOR in anthropology and not minor in it. but I did end up making friends, which is nice. I have people to hang out with and talk about work with and stress of work together. I'm hoping to maybe do study groups later on probably during finals. Think it'll be fun. 

OH! Also, I got offered research opportunities from my sociology professor. She had me meet her after she discovered I was majoring in Sociology and we discussed what classes I should take next semester and all that. And she even offered to have me help out with some projects. I declined, because it's my first semester and I'm trying to get a hang out everything before I start piling more stuff on my plate. I'm hoping to be a part of one though maybe next semester. 

But yeah, it's nice. I thought me being a commuter student would make it so I would just go to class and then home, and not really talk to other students outside of class or professors when it wasn't about an assignment. So yeah. I feel really included here.
