Listen, folks. I know you might think me ridiculous, but hear me out. I’ve been advocating for a new day of the week for years now, and I think I’ve found the solution: Frinday.
Now, doesn’t that just roll off your tongue? Frinday. It’s the perfect day of the week to separate high school and life. Because let’s face it, there’s nothing more annoying than having to go to class or work on a Friday. It messes up your whole weekend flow.
But with Frinday, you’re getting all of your work done before the weekend even starts. Sundays are already a drag because of the impending workweek, so why not start off your weekend on a productive note instead? Plus, for all you traffic-weary people out there, it gives you an extra hour to get home since school or work typically ends at 5 PM.
I know some of you might be thinking, “But it’s still a Friday, what’s the point?” Hear me out again. Fridays are sacred. Fridays are for parties, fun, and generally letting loose. But by declaring the first half of Friday as Frinday, we’re separating the blasé work bits from the fun parts. You can have your cake and eat it too.
So, if you’re tired of the boring, predictable workweek, join me in my quest for Frinday. It might sound silly, but sometimes the simplest solutions are the most effective ones. And who knows, maybe someday Frinday will be a national holiday.
But for now, let’s just enjoy separating the work from the weekend so we can party it up come Friday night. Cheers to Frinday!
