wrong timing (lol)

there's this guy I found attractive back in 2021 and I confessed to him before the year ended, but he sadly rejected me, but I moved on pretty quickly since I was only infatuated w him. Months passed by and everything was stable, until the start of grade 8 which was august 2022 (I think?) and we were on FTF (face to face) classes. He said to me that he had a sudden crush on me on the end of September 2022 and I had feelings for him on early October of 2022. He confessed to me when it was almost the end of October and so did I. Things were a little awkward and nervous at first but we talked a lot more afterwards and that's when we started getting close. We had little arguments here and there but none that we can't solve. We eventually became serious, but he unfortunately broke up with me after 4 months into the relationship. He said it wasn't the right time and... he progressively fell out of love with me. I am still moving on and so as he but I think he regrets his decision... he said he'll be back after a month but... I am not sure if that will happen. What do you guys think? lol
