Death of a Loved one. (Free verse)

Death takes

Death wipes everything you knew and loved

As I blink my eyes I live my life with this person

but 

Death takes this from me

Chains grab me pulling me far

deep underwater 

I'm drowning

death is taking my life or

my so-called life 

Once my eyes open after being drowned in this water

I wear all black and feel nothing 

but sorrow 

I watch this person go deep underground

unable to hold them again

death took that from me

I hold flowers and place them down as my heart melts

My eyes numb of tears

sitting on their grave

Thinking what I could have done different

The chains start to pull me again even farther than I was before

I want to stay their because no one can help me

death takes the ones u love
