Advocacy for full public access for ESAs

As I mentioned, one of my interests are advocating for mental health. I feel this one is a big one. Emotional support animals (or ESAs) generally don't get full public access. They can't be denied in housing or very specific public spaces (such as planes), but in accordance with ADA laws, businesses and other public spaces can tell you to leave if you bring in an ESA as opposed to a trained service animal.

Based on this, ADA laws aren't 100% fair to mental health disability sufferers. Not all people with mental disabilities require a trained service animal to access the public. I'm one of them. I know I'd personally like to run my weekly errands without being on the verge of panic every single week.

"But what about delivery services?" You might ask. Good question!! But unfortunately, many disabled people don't have the financial access to these services so that's not necessarily an option either. I'm advocating this not only for me, but anyone who's mentally disabled that feels burned by this rule.

I'm reaching out online for help with advocating for this, however. Because sadly, my voice offline is muted by crippling anxiety. Anything anyone can do to help in advocating with me is appreciated. Even if it's just simply sharing this around to find a more physical voice for this fight.
