TW: dead dove: do not eat, cannibalisme, gay
The tall slender figure with the recognizable brown hair with the glowing yellow end stood tall above the panting snezhnayan, while his long pale elegant fingers traced the sharp edge of the knife. He had been able to talk the snezhnayan to walk with him home for tea, although he had prepared a well-ventilated area to work. The table was cleaned and had nothing placed on it, prepared for use. Zhonglimade was sure the sturdy surface would be easy to clean afterward, as he had also placed plastic under the table on the floor. In the corner of the room stood a container for waste, right beside the sink, for access to clean water.
Zhongli leans down into Childe and buries his face in his hair, an abnormal gesture from the elder. It had initially come as a surprise for Childe, he couldn't get his blue eyes to focus on the elder's face at all, and he wasn't capable of even lifting his arm, it felt too heavy. A cold hand made contact with Childe’s jaw, gripping it and tugging his face in the, presumed in Zhongli’s spot. Childe slowly opened his eyes enough to make out the flushed cheeks of the dark figure looming over his cold dying body, flushed from the wine and the warmth of the fire, it's hard to remember who and what he truly is.
The younger of the two didn’t notice when he was picked up until he felt the tie around his wrists and ankles. He laid on his back, secure in place, just like an animal ready to get gutted. His body entered a heightened state of arousal as his fight-or-flight response was triggered. Childe trashed around as chaotic as he could just to escape the initial incision Zhongli was about to do. He noticed the bleeding wouldn’t stop any time soon, as he suddenly began feeling tired. Childe’s head lolled to the side and his eyes rolled to the back of his head, he tried to scream, anything to save him. The archon turned around to face Childe’s bleeding body, with a newly sharped knife in hand he began from the base of the throat, making a shallow incision using the knife. In the back of Zhongli’s mind, he knew Childe wouldn’t die as fast and had a high pain tolerance, however, he was careful not to puncture the internal organs anyway.
Childe threw his head to the sides and tried once more tugging on the restraints on his wrists, his mouth opening like a fish, trying to get enough air as he was bleeding out profusely. The struggling made Zhongli’s patience run thin, he grabbed the handle of the knife harder and struck Childe in each palm. The younger boy’s eyes shot open as he looked Zhongli directly in the eyes, begging him to kill him, just to end him there. His eyebrows lowered, as he squeezed his eyes shut once again, wrinkling his red ruddy nose. Childe repeatedly opened his eyes, now full of tears, as Zhongli watched him raising his upper lip and opening his mouth again.
“Ugh…hm..” he moaned out. Zhongli couldn’t help but smirk, enjoying the suffering in front of him. He laid the knife at a distance from them both, as he decided to open the abdominal cavity. He used his gloved fingers to separate the skin and muscles from Childe’s organs carefully. And he also started removing the organs. Reaching inside the abdominal cavity and located the major organs. Such as the intestines, liver, gallbladder, and the stomach. He also carefully cut the connective tissue and attachments holding them in place. Removing the organs individually, being cautious not to rupture them in the process. He couldn’t help but crack a smile, as he was one step closer to his goal. Zhongli was so caught up in the gutting that he didn’t pay attention to his friend who lay motionless on the blood-soaked table.
“I finally have you where I want..” Zhongli confessed with a satisfied smile plastered on his face. He went back to clean the cavity after removing all the organs, rinsing the abdominal cavity with clean water to remove any remains of blood and debris. The elder half-dragon placed the removed organs in the kitchen and some of the other waste material in the designated container.
Taking a glimpse of the pale body before going to his little kitchen. Cooking with organ meat can be unique and flavorful, he has heard. Many cultures have traditionally dished that incorporate various organ meat, which can be rich in nutrients and offer distant tastes and textures.
Putting on his indoor shoes, he began his cooking. First, he cleaned the organs, he would eat, under cold water while removing any excess fat, membranes, and connective tissue from the organ. Next, he soaked the liver and kidney in milk, to help reduce any strong flavors or odors, like last time. Zhongli looked around the small kitchen, wondering how he should cook it.
“Hmm…I think I will go for frying this time..” He said as if there were another person in the room he was talking to, telling his dinner plan. He bent down to the cabinet beside the oven to get the frying pan and oil. Putting the pan on the oven and turning on the warmth, he poured the oil and turned around to find the cutting board and placed it on the kitchen table. He decided to dice the organs and saute them in a hot pan with oil until it was cooked through and browned. His mouth was already overflowing in drool just by the thought.
When the meat became darker, Zhongli added vegetables, grains, and salads, and let it sit until it became roasted. It looked delicious, he thought to himself, but next time he wants to try and enjoy the organ meat in sandwiches. He knew eating human organ meat was taboo and illegal, however, the rush and excitement were too good of a feeling for him to ever stop. Building up a friendship, the possibility of a relationship with the young Harbinger, was just perfect. He created a false safety between them, while the century-old archon dont condone manipulative behavior, he couldn’t help but show passive-aggressive behavior and play the victim at times. To make Childe doubt his perception of reality and Zhongli denies his own actions, twists facts, and manipulates conversations to make Childe question his memory and emotions.
There were times when Zhongli began withholding attention and affection. He used silent treatment or withdrew affection, attention, and support as a means of control. He believe this tactic would help create a sense of insecurity or fear of abandonment towards Childe. From the beginning Zhongli portrayed himself as the victim in every situation between himself and Childe, to gain sympathy and to manipulate his dear friend into providing support.
Smiling at the good memories, Zhongli was cut off and snapped back to reality, standing in the kitchen with his back turned against the living room. The roasted meat smelled of a delightful aroma, as the meat began roasting, a mouthwatering fragrance starts to waft through the air. At first, the subtle scent of the raw meat mingled with any herbs, spices, and marinades that have been applied, then the after scent hit. The aroma is rich and savory, carrying hints of the flavors that will unfold during the roasting process. The air becomes filled with the mouthwatering fragrance of the roasted meat. He would describe it as a warm, comforting scent that stimulates the appetite.
The tall and dignified male stood still. He was deep in thought for a moment before his eyes reflected the pale cold body on his living room table.
Zhongli wished they could have their last meal together.
