I'd give it a go as I used to watch bleach a lot when I got off of school during high school. However, once I reached season 4 and 5, it killed the show for me as it was nothing but complete filler so Tite Kubo (The manga creator) could catch back up on the manga so the show had more source material. I haven't been able to get back into bleach because of the sudden episodes going from gold to bronze just like that, but I heard the show does get good again right after the filler seasons.
