Story writing!

I'm writing a short story for my creative writing class rn and I'm trying to actually write it.... look I love creating story's but writing is a whole other thing! BUT I am doing it so that good, but slowly but I'm getting better the more I'm writing. It about a by and a squirrel and there's a missing person case that shocked the small town and after a few months the police haven't gotten anything and the case turns cold and it lead to the MC which is the boy to try and solve the case because he thinks he knows where the man went. I'm about half way though but making it as i go lol. Anyways just wanted to share my struggles rn!
