random thought… what if we lived in a world in which we listened to music the same way we watch movies and shows.
the concept:
“want to listen to some music?”
“sure, why not.”
“okay, cool. let’s listen to no surprises by radiohead”
“nah, i can’t… i’ve heard that before.”
i wonder if people like this actually exist(?)
i’ve already heard that.

I think you're tapping into an interesting discussion here. It is funny that music is more or less limited to one sense, and yet we still have seasons of replaying that one album (or even a single song). Yesterday I rediscovered some progressive house music I like. It did kind of feel like rewatching a great film.
