2nd update to Accurate Google

Hello again!

It's been about a week since I first posted about The Accurate Google Experience™™™™™™™ and since then I've added quite a bit to the project. So anyways, Read On.

(And if you missed the first post, read that now on my profile otherwise this mightnt make sense lol)

1. 2012 version:

This is probably the biggest thing I added this week. It's the 2012 site but with a completely different range of doodles to better match the time period. There's also here about 100 doodles, spread across the year.

And of course, there's different messages/popups here too.

2. Alternate 2011/2012 GBar

To solve the problem of 2 camps wanting slightly different versions (when the homepage is otherwise the exact same), I've added a feature in the config to enable the 2011 GBar. You can see the difference in the screenshot.

3. Dark mode (for real this time)

By popular demand (Not), I've added dark mode as a permanent feature which can be toggled in the config. Keep in mind that with this the doodles are disabled (Simply because the backgrounds on most aren't transparent and I'm not bothered making an alternate version of all of them lol). And also to note: For 2 days in March (ahem, "Earth Day 2009") this dark mode is still forcefully enabled whether you have it on or off.

4. Some misc things

Here are some other misc things I added that are only in it for pure accuracy and probably wouldn't matter to the average person


- "Go to Google [Country]": Small little feature which adds another option at the bottom of the page to go to the country of your residence.

- Added option to change year at the bottom of the page in config (If you're aiming for a certain time frame)

...

- What the fuck

*Added option to change default logo in config.

Anyways, still don't know when I'll release this but I'll update you all on everything related to this. And if there's anything else that I should add then let me know.
