As We Fall: The Points Of Failure And Relativity…

I’m just starting this blog so i have somewhere to post updates about my band.

It is super heavily inspired by the early 2000s Myspace grindcore/mathcore type bands like Heavy Heavy Low Low, Daughters, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and WristMeetRazor.

I hope anyone who listens to it really enjoys it and even if you hate it please lmk. XD

I have 4 songs wrote for EP 2 and for 2 of them I have tracked my guitars and bass already so i am going to send them off to my drummer vocalist for them to do their own thing with it. It feels really cool to say i have a real drummer now cause that is one of the hardest things for me to do BY FARRR. 

I want this EP to be a little longer than my first one so i’m gonna try to go through some old riffs tonight and mash some stuff together and see what happens. Ideally it’ll be like 6 songs but if the 5th song is a longer one i might just go ahead and drop it cause i’m eager to drop the new stuff!! It is still the mathy, grindy, sloppy sound of the first EP that I love but I just recorded them so much better and really learned how to make my tempo changes and weird time sigs sound normal. (cause the first ep wasn’t recorded to a click) Hopefully there will be something for y’all to hear soon but until then please if you haven’t yet check out my first EP. It’s only 5 minutes long and it was the first thing i’ve ever recorded but i’m super proud of it.

damn it’s been forever since i updated this xd 

since last time i updated the blog i finished and released the ep!! i have played a few shows with my band playing all my music and that has been the most fulfilling experience ever tbhhh. i just made a spacehey for my band today tho so if u want u should def add me on their!!! the name is As We Fall and i’m still trying to set it up so don’t judge it to harshly lol. ig there isn’t too much more to update yall on that’s actually related to the band but lmk if i should make a personal blog cause i rly want to actually make friends on here that i can call/facetime and we can really get to know each other.
