Tips for anxiety ☆from experience☆

I've been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder for a couple years now, over that time here's a list of some things (besides medication💀) that I found helpful  <3


Music, any kind. I find my metal playlist or loud music surprisingly helps the best with distracting myself and getting calm faster.

finishing class work/ homework, again another way to distract. Plus you're getting work done :) 

coloring books are amazing, just in general and for calming reasons. I personally have a book filled with curse words and mean phrases, and when you're done you can leave the now yassified insult as a lovely note for someone you don't like ;)))

writing in a journal, I've only been doing this for a couple days and I've been writing in the middle of class even when I'm not sad or anxious. Might just be me but writing feels as if I'm talking to someone and helps a lot without the fear of being judged

☆video games! Video games! Another way to distract as well as getting anger out if you're playing any fighting games

Finally someone gets the doing school work when stressed. I tell people it relaxes me and I get called crazy
