This is nuts... Big life changes (also hi, I'm not dead)

Hey everyone, just making a rare check in on this account. Life has been crazy for me the last year. I got an adult diagnosis of autism and adhd which has totally shifted my perspective on myself and all my past experiences. I haven't had the energy or enough free time to maintain contact with people on this site at all this year and for that I'm sorry. I promise it's not intentional if I haven't replied to any messages or comments but I literally haven't been through my notifications for months. 

All my energy has been focused on adjusting to life and figuring out how to fully be the "new" version of myself. It's been an emotional rollercoaster but it's a hugely positive thing in the long run as it allows me to be kinder to myself and better understand what I need in order to cope with life in general. It's also brought up a lot of anger at others who have treated me unfairly or taken advantage of my difference throughout my life. So it's kind of a celebration of my newfound validation combined with a grieving process for all the hardships my younger self went through while being held to neurotypical expectations by everyone around me. 

Anyway, I could ramble about this stuff for hours. In fact I already have – as a singer I've been beginning to process all this through writing new lyrics. One of the main things I've been working on this year is a new record that is primarily about my experiences of diagnosis and reevaluating my identity as a result of it.
