wow it's been a minute since i blogged on here! my bad. i've been mostly just busy working, spending time with my bf, and trying to take care of myself. around september when the season starts to turn is a very very weird time for me mentally. i think now that i'm living on my own with someone who cares and understands what this type of thing feels like will be good for not exacerbating it compared to last year, but it still sucks a bit haha.

my tablet pen broke so i'm currently waiting to receive another tablet. why did i order the whole shebang instead of just looking for another pen? well the intuos 4 (what i've been using for the past 9 years) isn't in production anymore. so, it's not only impossible to find JUST the pen secondhand, but to get a new one that's compatible with the 4 is like $65! i'm not paying that LOL but i found a small intuos pro with the pen and the cord for only $40, which was a really good deal. i think that meant it was time for me to upgrade so that should be here in a couple days and i can finally finish the batch of commissions i'd been working on. i only have two clients left waiting right now and luckily they were both really nice and said they didn't mind waiting instead of wanting refunds.

i haven't gotten any new piercings yet like i've been talking about in the past but i DID stretch my septum up to a 10g from a 14g. going to 12g was no big deal but stretching up to the 10 has kind of sucked balls so far. i know it'll heal up since it's not looking torn or blown out thankfully, but it's definitely harder to go up to that compared to the 14 to 12g stretch. i've just been treating it like a new septum piercing and keeping it clean with vitamin E oil on it to soothe it. i'm still into the idea of getting my bridge pierced sometime; i have some birthday money specifically for a piercing that i've been sitting on since July so it's just a matter of deciding what i want.

i'm planning on saving up to get more tattoos sometime; i'd really like the LIFE and DEATH uis from cruelty squad so i'm thinking of where to get them. i'm considering either my calves or maybe above my knees..or maybe even my shins? i haven't decided yet. i'm trying to save the real estate that's left on my arms to eventually do a medieval sleeve. that'll probably go on my left arm since that's where my ouroboros is, and maybe more music related stuff will go on my right arm since that's where my grindcore tattoo is. i dunno yet, it's all out of my budget right now so i'm not going to agonize about it :P
