How Odd. . .

A government website was actually helpful for me today!  :O

I know, right?

In Minnesota we're supposed to be getting a tax rebate right around now. If you filed in in 2021 you're supposed to get $260 this fall. I've been waiting for it to hit my bank account and the waiting was driving me nuts.

Hence the government website.

I really only had two questions and it answered both without me needing to speak to a human being. That's not how government stuff is supposed to work! It's supposed to make you slowly lose your temper, sanity and patience, not necessarily in that order.

Then you're supposed to use their phone system and spend most of the day on hold or being passed from one person to the next. Don't these people know anything? I had budgeted about three hours for getting this information today. Seriously!

I think I'm going to keep this on the down-low. If people found out that a state website can actually be helpful who knows what would happen? :O
