An ode to LittleBigPlanet

Recently i've been thinking about my favorite childhood game series, LittleBigPlanet. Although the online servers for it (aside from LBP3) have been shut down for quite some time now, it still holds a very special place in my heart.

I've been playing LittleBigPlanet for as long as i can remember, since it first came out, and i firmly believe it has shaped me into the person i am today. Growing up i mostly played LBP2, and i made countless friends on there that i still think about to this day. I also spent a lotttt more money on DLC to make "cozzies" on there than i'd like to admit LOL..... I remember coming home from school every day and the first thing i'd do is turn on my PS3 and just play LBP with people from all over the world for the rest of the day until my mom told me to go to sleep. Although i still play LittleBigPlanet 3 from time to time since it's the only one that's still online, i've never really been as fond of it as i am with the other two games. Which is a shame really, i just wish it wasn't so buggy and broken (and borderline unplayable at times).

As bittersweet as how everything turned out is, i'm glad this game was a part of my life for as long as it was, and i will always reminisce upon it fondly.
