I finally got to watch my youngest half-brother play football. He's a freshman this year and the 1st left-handed Quarterback the Eagles have ever had. He did absolutely amazing. My other half-brother is a junior. They are really cool. I don't have a very good relationship with my dad so I haven't gotten to spend much time with my brothers. Things are getting better between my dad and I so I decided to go to a game with them and enjoy spending time as a family. I hope that things will keep blossoming between all of us. It was a bit of a struggle when I was growing up. Having divorced parents was hard enough and then add in all the anxiety and depression on top of it. I love my dad and his family. I just wish we could all spend more time together. We only live 20 miles apart but sometimes it feels like 100s of miles. They are super busy with the boys and their sports and I'm super busy with my son and the activities we have going on over here. I can't wait to see how much both of my brothers grow as high schoolers. They are both very good at football and baseball. I have high hopes that one if not both of them will end up in the pros someday.
