now that music is much more digital and disposable everywhere, such as spotify, bandcamp, soundcloud and other places? do people even bother buying physical cds?
i've stared doing that when i first got into bts since i got hyped when love yourself: her released back in 2017.
but it took me a few years to even consider getting other albums, but i did when i found ill na na by foxy brown at my local flea market for a dollar.
my cd collection hasn't grown that much since im picky with what i like and trying to find them for cheap.
but with how everything is going digital, and the corporations trying to make everything a subscription service these days and even moreso in the future, well, its best to start archiving one's music taste in cds and analog media.
because its yours, and no one can mess with it and you can burn these cds or whatever you like onto something else if it gets too damaged.

I always look into the cd bins at yard sales or at the music store I go to every once in a while. I found a Cranberries cd at a thrift store for less than 4 bucks and saw the same one at a barnes and noble for over 40 bucks.
Some of my friends don't have cd players at home but like to collect some of their favorite albums so there's that too :-0
i agree! also they can get a boombox or a portable cd player to play their cds!
also that's such a cool find!
