Journal Entry #73: 09/17/23 - Uh...

So, my family came to visit for fall family weekend. However, it was less like a weekend and more like a few hours. They got here late; we almost missed our reservation, and it didn't feel like our time was well spent. I was so jealous that my classmates were able to have their families stay over for longer! On the upside though, we had a pretty cute waiter. He had brown round-rimmed glasses and dusty brown curly hair. Not only was he cute, but he was silly too! It was as though he was everything I wanted. Anyway, that's enough gushing about someone who doesn't even know my name.

Gameday was also yesterday. I finally got to sit in the student section but sit really isn't the right word. The student section stands up every game, save for halftime. Ugh, my feet hurt so much from that! I left early since I knew we were going to win, and it was getting late. I feel like I've been spending too much money for whatever reason; we're more than halfway through the month, so I may need to do some calculations. 

Today was beautiful. Hearing the leaves rustle is music to my ears. The shade felt cool today, as it should be. If I'm ever stressed now, I just immerse myself in nature and I feel so much better. I'm a part of it, and it's a part of me. As it should be. I think this might be the reason that I'm a Pantheist. 

Anyway, another week is ahead.
