luke thoughts 2

i feel like im in a weird space because most of my friends are 20+ yrs old and whenever i go to conventions or cosplay meets or whatever i feel very much so like i limit whoever im hanging out with, or i generally make them a little uncomfortable when it comes to choosing to do things that arent con related. 

i think the biggest thing is that im not able to drink, and its not even that i want to. but im gated from even being in these spaces when my friends are doing it or i cant sit at the bar at a restaurant (this happened at colossal where i couldnt sit with everyone else) 

i feel like im in a weird position where im too young to fully be able to hang out with people who are older than me, but the things i do alienate me a ton from my peers and people who are younger than me. it doesnt help that im probably the youngest kig in north america :/

whatever tho. idk. im prepping for a con in october and i feel weird having to tell the people im rooming with im 18. and im scared im making them uncomfortable by being in the room.
