A New Chapter

Welcome to my spacehey page, everyone!

I don't remember how I kicked off my original Myspace blog section but it was probably awkward, full of misspellings, bad grammar, and a very naive and hopeful, (while also cautious and concerned) outlook of the internet and all that lay ahead of us at that moment.

Well, look at us now. Some of you may only know the web as it is now, and some of you have the fortunate, (or unfortunate, however one looks at it) perspective of time and can see where we were and where we are now with web based communication, communities, and of course the over abundance of tribalism, extremism, information exhaustion, and maybe a feeling of bleak hopelessness that certainly settled in once we realized most platform owners had zero interest in our well being and only saw us a content faucets to line their pockets with our value while destroying the best aspects of the very platforms that we loved in the first place.

Maybe it was best that Myspace, almost randomly, dodged most of these bullets by collapsing so early, so much so that it remains in most of our hearts and minds a warm and inviting, nostalgic place in our web memories.

Having the entire experience reemerge as a clone, rebranded of course, and of course, just a "fan-site" actually feels just about as right as one could hope for.

I am grateful and happy and of course, hopeful this remains as simple and straightforward as it was before. Hats off to An. Really excited to be back on a site like this.

Here and now, I will be uploading blogs about my art and what I am passionate about and I welcome you to join in, comment, and be kind to everyone here and be nice in the comments please. I will drop art here occasionally, usually related to my ongoing efforts to self publish a series of sci-fi comic books.
