i bought my cassette deck from an antique store for around $30, but they have TONS of them for cheap at thrift shops (the prettiest ones were $15-20, but i saw some that were around $10)
youll probibly need to be at least a little good with repairing them if your gonna buy them from a thift store tho, the rubber belts inside can get melted over the years but i hear theyre pretty easy to replace.
as for cassettes, i dont really have any recommendations i just bought the cheepest option on Amazon xD
