what did i miss

so dose anyone else remember getting made fun of in grade, middle and high school for being alternative? like im happy that more people are exploring the culture/ sub cultures. the other day i was at school and the girl who has relentlessly bullied me for being a "fagot" "queer" "social reject" and the way i dress, my music and SH scars came up to me wearing typical egirl clothes, black mom jeans a black and white undershirt yk, and asked me what music i listen to i was kind of shocked that she was being so nice so i was being nice back. i started to tell her some of my music such as bmth, mcr, pierce the vail and nirvana. so stops me mid sentence and asks who they are and i start showing her some of their music, she told me that "they aren't alt, lil peep is alt" and called me a poser then walked away. lil peep is emo rap so yes he is alt but he's not the og, i listen to him and i really like his music but its people like her who make it harder for people my age(15) to be accepted in the alternative culture.
