      So the past 2 weeks have been nerve wrecking but peaceful to say the least. Long story short, In September 2019, I was sexually assaulted leaving work and then assaulted by the officer I ran for help to. The guy who assaulted me got away but the cop who assaulted me tried to charge me with things that wasn't true. I hired a lawyer and requested video cam footage from the officer to exploit his deception because I knew that was the only way to get at least a crumb of justice from what happened to me that night. It took almost a year and a half and my court date finally arrives and charges have been dropped and dismissed. This is a victory for me. Bittersweet victory. It's like for the first time after a very long while I feel like I can breathe. As if a part of my soul that wasn't there has now replenished. Just another step closer to Paradise.
