angst in my pants!!!
my second favorite sparks album... it's so good and so addicting i want to inject this into my veins please. every song is the perfect amount of unserious and it's just genuinely such a good album waaaaah i love sparks. it was the end of ronald's toothbrush mustache, we lost a real one after this era. angst in my pants is really what sold me on loving sparks, they really have a way of making whatever music they want and how they want it, and the sincerity really shows.
faves: sextown usa (aeouh yaeuh. call me crazy, call me horny, but this is a masterpiece), i predict (the bassline... again call me crazy, call me horny, but this song and the mv are masterpieces!!!!), angst in my pants (i love it when russell sings it an octave up at the end. if gender's what's in your pants...), (my my my my my) moustache (moustache moustache moustache), sherlock holmes (another autism love song), LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE SONG ON THIS ALBUM IS SO GOOD I URHAREJKADHAKRJH... they're so me...
now. this album cover. is my favorite sparks cover of all of them. if i ever went to a sparks concert, i'd wear a wedding dress!! and i know who would be my russell. i love the blank red background (weezer reference). i love ron's wedding dress, it really accentuates his length! and his hair.... and russell's hair... russell's suit may seem out of place but this was in russell's shiny suit era so can you really get mad at him. it's giving prom too, sparks are so teenager core tho so it's slay. i love drawing this cover and i love drawing little bits and bobs from the songs too. AMAZING ALBUM!!!
