hi everyone!!
recently i have been trying to learn guitar a little bit again but its pretty hard so im getting kind of discouraged, especially because i dont really know how to learn or where to start. ive tried to learn before but i always just ended up kind of quitting because i wasnt good, lol. does anyone have advice on where to start for someone who is a beginner? i just wanna play cool songs, but i have really small hands too so i am struggling a lot. send help!!!

Don't give up! Everyone starts somewhere :D
Try starting with basic chords and tabs of songs you enjoy, and practice when you have a free moment! I know it can get pretty discouraging when you try to play and don't sound as great as you'd hope, but keep on practicing unti you get it down. Start small and build from there, being able to play a riff or strum along to a song you enjoy can be really refreshing and give you the momentum to keep trying. Best of luck!!

ok i dont play guitar, im a drummer, but have you considered taking some classes? teachers can be REALLY helpful, though i understand if you cant afford that bc music classes can get very expensive. what the other 2 people in the comments said is pretty great though
i would love to and i hope to one day (tbh i'm not the best at teaching myself) but unfortunately i just dont have the time in my schedule right now. but it definitely is a goal i have for the future!

try tunings like DAEAC#E (my favorite) or EAEAC#E thats how i started and i just got better the more i played from there. for the learning songs thing i kind of suck at playing in standard tuning and most songs are in standard (EADGBE) but there are plenty of chord websites and you can google chord sheets for different tunings and learn chords that way. you should probably get a capo too they are super useful
ok thank you!! :)
