Alr let’s start this off by saying that I fucking love the first two hotel Transylvania movies. I love the concept I love the characters I love EVERYTHING. But hotel Transylvania 4? It can die, it can be thrown into a fire for all I care
So reasons why this movie was the worst way to end a movie saga, and why it should be erased completely and re-written:3
-The movie focuses on jhonny and Draculas relashionship. But oh? Does that seem familiar? YEAH IT FUCKING DOES CAUSE THATS WHAT TEHYVE BEEN DOING FOR ALL THE OTHER MOVIES!!!!!!!! They decided on a dumb fucking plot that should’ve been a tiny spin episode that lasted like 20 minutes. But Nuh uh, this was the way they ended a beloved saga. They focused on the same repetetive thing instead of addressing the possibility of mavis outliving jhonny!!!! They’res so much room for better plot.
-ADAM SANDLER DIDNT VOICE DRACULA.
-Oh my fucking god the aesthetics were so ruined. WHAT HAPPNEED TO THE BELOVED SPOOKIE HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA????? THE VIBES WERE SO OFF I HATED IT
-Jhonny in the movie changed the hotel completely and it was shown IN THE CREDITS. The whole movie was leading up to it only for it to be shown quickly IN THE FUCKING CREDITS
-the “makeover”

WHY JUST WHY!!!!!! THE HOTEL WAS CREATED TO PROTECT MONSTERS FROM HUMANS, IT WAS MADE IN HONOR OF DRACS DEAD WIFE AND THEY TURNED IT INTO A MONSTROSITY IM GONNA KMS
-they made Jonny be so FUCKING ANNOYING in the movie, I hated him
-THE GLASSES GUY WAS UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK
Anyways thats all the reasons I can remember for hating this dumbass fucking movie, if there are any I forgot lmk

I agree with everything except the invisible guy part. I mean, being a children's movie it makes sense that they decide to cast the character as a funny looking man with a nose longer than the width of his head bc that would be funny???? the movie still sucked

Growing up I realized this whole film franchise focused on relationship and acceptance between human and monsters, I get the message they're trying to deliver but was it really worth taking away the dark, goth essence to make it more "human-friendly?" Either way they should've stopped after making the 2nd movie.

I love kids movies and the first two are so fun, the third one is enjoyable but not as good. and the fourth was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. like the entire movie is TERRIBLE. i honestly forget it exists and yeah johnny was fun in the other movies, but was p1ss annoying in the fourth movie.
