Living Life in the 2000's

Well, here I am. Second blog entry EVER! Woot woot! 

For a while now, I've been trying to live in the 2000's, mainly 2009? Though, I'm not too strict about it. It's been well so far, though I've mainly just been loafing about my room, formatting floppy disks, watching TV, playing games. Nothing special really. The biggest issue I've found with going outside, is NOTHING IS 2000s ANYMORE! And it BLOWS. Even the mall sucks, the thrift stores suck, nowhere has the cheap plastic junk, nothing has the shitty, silvery shine that electronics had, it's all just garbage now, mass-produced just to be thrown out. And the average person, who lives in the modern day on top of it, gosh. It just seems like everything's dropped so far from just a few years ago. Any of you guys have any experience with living like this? Or, moreso trying to live in such a delusion? I don't have any friends in real life that share this passion either, or friends in general I guess, which I'm sure doesn't help. I might be trailing off here at this point, I've never been great at long-form writing. But, uh, gosh, I really just wish I could go back. Hell, TV isn't the same, advertisements aren't the same.. Ugh, it's hard to take it. Maybe trying to is just a mistake, or something. Grah. I don't know.
