I screwed it up in Mega Man X3

Yesterday, I was playing Mega Man X3. I got every armor part, E-Tank and riding armor, but all of this was in vain because I also got 1 of the 4 chips that you can equip before Dr Doppler stages.

What is wrong with this? You might ask. Well, it turns out that to get the golden armor you need to equip a secret chip, the Hyper Chip. Because you can only have one chip equiped for the rest of the game, I was left with no option but starting a new game from scratch.

But that doesn't matter. Now that I knew every maverick weakness and every item location, I was able to recover from this lost in just one day. Now I'm just a few stages away from beating this game the right way, I can't wait for starting playing X4.
