no. 1 in heaven!!!

absolutely ethereal. heavenly. if this was playing in heaven when i got there, i would never complain. (at least compared to previous sparks) this is such an innovative use of synthesizers. i love hearing the melodies from some songs worm their ways into other songs. i love how in some of the extended versions they just kinda start the song over. this album kinda reminds me of plastic beach and the now now, because of the use of synths.

faves: my other voice (weirdly underrated, no one ever talks about it and also on the 40th anniversary edition there isn't an extended edition), academy award performance (she's just like me fr), tryouts for the human race (hahaha sperm), beat the clock (you gotta beat the clock, also the mv is so silly), la dolce vita, and ofc, you cannot forget the number one song in heaven. literally all of them are so freaking gorgeous.

idrk what's going on on the cover, but the nurse lady or whatever serves. i think i might prefer the original cover, with the more pinkish hues than the 40th edition. not much i can say about the cover this time lol.
