I know someone who was a teenager in the 2000s. They are the grammar/spelling police, while also being a tech snob/audiophile. They HATE slang and having sentences be ALL LOWERCASE.
I don't mind slang, I'm more used to just typing out the regular words. But this is interesting to know.

Man I use all these lmao especially 'rofl',, there was this one time I used it on a chatroom and someone was like "I haven't seen people using 'rofl' in like 10 years" xD
I don't remember the URL sadly :( I was on wayback machine typing up whatever words came to mind (.com) and stumbled upon a chatroom that had URLs from 2023 so I went normal online and it was still up so I got on it and went to my interests.
I think the forum on spacehey is pretty nice though :)
