so, yesterday i decided to start studying russian language again. i had began to learn it when i was 15/16, but i couldn't find time to study it anymore as i was moving and starting school at the time. at this point, i learned the entire alphabet and knew how to read it, though i couldn't entirely comprehend what it said. also, i knew how to say some basic phrases. obviously, learning the alphabet and some basic phrases is the easiest part of the language.
my goal in this endeavor is to achieve fluency in russian and be able to communicate to others in the language. i'm learning russian because i love the culture and it has produced some of the best work, be it in literature, music, or art.

I found physical flashcards helped me the most when I was trying to learn the alphabet, words get hard tho lol
I use memrise and they have a pretty good setup for learning russian.

i can read now! i just don't know wtf i'm reading lmfaooo... over the next few days, i'm gonna focus on learning the greetings and responses i was taught. my routine at the moment is duolingo for 30 mins, flashcards for 15-20 mins, and watching this lesson series on youtube. well... not a lesson every day, but watching the lesson, taking notes, and studying what i learned over a couple of days via flashcards. i'll check out memrise though!
learning this language gives me so much dopamine. every time i memorize something i've learned, i get so hyped n shit.
sorry for yapping away :/

Always good to have a routine! Especially with something like russian, considering the difficulty of the language! I wonder if duolingo is better than memrise?
